01 / Project Overview
I joined Frilli Gallery as a social media marketing intern, supporting the development of an international sculpture exhibition connecting Florence and Hangzhou. Following the internship, I was promoted to part-time Social Media Manager, taking responsibility for the gallery’s ongoing social media presence and supporting communications for the yearlong exhibition campaign.

POST 01

frilligallery Founded in Florence in 1860 by sculptor Antonio Frilli, Galleria Frilli became a distinguished name in the Florentine…
Reintroduce Frilli Gallery by establishing its 1860 founding, Florentine identity, atelier tradition, and international legacy—creating the historical context for the artwork and exhibition stories that follow.
I introduced Frilli through its founding in 1860, Florentine atelier tradition, marble and bronze production, and international recognition at historic World’s Fairs. The post established the historical foundation for the campaign while keeping the language accessible to a contemporary audience.

POST 02

frilligallery Widely regarded as Antonio Frilli’s masterpiece, the sculpture “Reclining Nude on a Hammock” is one of the most remarkable…
Present one of Antonio Frilli’s most recognizable works through an accessible artwork story that connects close visual observation and Carrara marble craftsmanship with the gallery’s international recognition.
Rather than presenting the sculpture only as a historical object, I used its visual details—the draped fabric, relaxed pose, and sense of suspension—to make the craftsmanship immediately understandable to a contemporary audience.
I also connected the work to the gallery’s international history through its success at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, helping establish Frilli’s reputation beyond Florence.

I researched the sculpture’s history and exhibition context, identified the details that made the work visually compelling, and developed a narrative that balanced art-historical information with accessible storytelling. I then selected and organized the images to move from the complete sculpture into closer details of the carving and hammock.
POST 03
frilligallery Completed in 2016, the replica of the North Door of the Florence Baptistery was produced by Galleria Frilli twenty-six years…
Explain how Frilli’s North Door replica brings together art history, digital scanning, lost-wax casting, conservation, and institutional collaboration—making a complex preservation project clear to public audiences.
I structured the post to connect Lorenzo Ghiberti’s original masterpiece with the contemporary work required to protect and preserve it. Ghiberti created the North Door of the Florence Baptistery between 1403 and 1424, filling its twenty-eight panels with figures and scenes from the life of Christ, the Evangelists, and the Doctors of the Church.
Frilli Gallery spent four years producing the full-scale bronze replica using the traditional lost-wax casting method. Unveiled in January 2016, the replica now stands at the Baptistery while the restored original is preserved in the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. The project was supported by the Guild of the Dome, whose members financed both the replica and the restoration of the original doors.
The post emphasized that replication in this context is not simple reproduction. It requires historical knowledge, precision, technical expertise, and close collaboration between artisans, conservators, cultural institutions, and supporters.
Historical and Institutional Research Caption Writing Content Structure Image Selection Visual Storytelling
I researched the history of Ghiberti’s original doors, Frilli Gallery’s production process, and the partnership behind the project. I organized the content so audiences could first understand the significance of the original artwork and then see how Frilli’s craftsmanship contributed to its continued preservation and public display.
04 / Editorial Calendar and Planning
I organized the campaign across Instagram, LinkedIn, and WeChat, mapping content themes, production needs, approvals, and exhibition milestones into a working editorial calendar.
